Tonight's very tired, post Escapade Post
Feb. 28th, 2010 10:24 pmSecret Society for Creative Philanthropy somehow needs to be written as a Wild Wild West Steampunk crossover fic where in do-gooder's wear capes and old ladies are helped across the street. Also, this is a cool idea and it's funny that people are wary of it.
*waves tiredly*
Meta Panel with Henry Jenkins, which was why I went, was good but had an odd tilt which I'm still mulling but has something to do with shame and owning desire.
Holmes/Watson had some nice moments including the inspiration to pair Basil Rathbone with Errol Flynn as Watson which story I now totally want to read. Also, the desire to read Stephen Fry's fic about Sherlock and Wilde having dinner. But, the mod had this odd narrow view and conversation didn't really ripen as a result.
On the range was interesting.
Vid show was okay but not great. I liked a few vids but only a couple stood out as really outstanding. Mostly the one's by Laura Shapiro. BIG SURPRISE.
I'm tired. As one should be after such a weekend.
