I've been working through this book on dealing with detrimental thinking. You know. Learning new ways to think, learning to let go of ways of thinking that cause me pain, sadness, depression.

So, one of the first exercises is to make a list of your excuses and then write an affirmation to turn each one around. And I did. I wrote everything that came to mind, with several lines in between so I had room for my affirmation. 8 pages of excuses. *cue me sighing*

And.

And I lost my list.

And I got a little frantic.

Where was my list! DAMMIT! I have to write my affirmations! OMG.

And then it occurred to me; I lost my list of excuses that cause me pain. I. Lost. It.

Dude, I should be CELEBRATNG!

What a serendipitous happening!

I lost my excuses.

*commence me laughing, inside, for like, a week*

snort...I crack me up.

also, don't worry, I managed to come up with a few excuses for my affirmations.
