If it makes you feel any better, I listened to Rufus Wainwright for about a month or so before I realized he was gay.

If you don't know who he is, trust me when I say he's one of the gayest people in the universe.

To be fair, I came to him completely ignorant of him, and at the time I was listening to his least gay album!
