I have to get those bird seeds again so that they have something when the snow comes. I actually had to get my dictionary out to look up how those birds are called in English.. *lol*
Ooooo I forgot. I haven't really fed the sparrows for a while since down here, there seems to be food year round. And our cat is an indoor cat. But it would be lovely to bring more of the to the yard. Thanks for the reminder!
You're welcome... :) My cat is an indoor cat as well but she can get out onto the balcony, so I have to look out when the door is open. She either hunts the birds or she climbs over to the neighbour's balcony. So whenever I have the seeds out my cat has to be watched very strictly. :)
Heee! The sweetie. They are just doing as nature intended. I'm reminded of my elderly calico very stealthfully stalking the Peahens that inhabited our Pasadena neighborhood some years ago. She never caught one but I had to admire her big sky thinking. ;)
Well, I am afraid mine would actually be able to catch something. She does very well when it comes to bugs and flies and other kinds of insects. She even jumps on the neighbour's dog when she can get out of the door into the hallway. So I think birds wouldn't be safe from her.
