I've not felt so shocked and helpless since Katrina--and that was on so very much smaller of a scale as to be insignificant in comparison.

All tragedy is terrible, each in its own horrible way.

The tragedy of Haiti is greater than the earthquake. One day, ONE SINGLE DAY, before this tragedy, my company showed us video of women we had funded through Yunnis Bank who were doing so well and now I don't even know if they're alive.
