So, after last week we learned that both Dean and Sam, being the sons of John and Mary, are, by descent, able to host archangels without losing their respective wits. So, why the Michael for Dean and only Lucifer for Sam? Is it because Sam's tainted by demon blood? Tangentially,

is able to defeat Famine with his demon filled self, why can't he do this to Lucifer and why does Luc think Sam'll be a push over?



Spoilers for tonight actually. Though I haven't seen it.
