P2P file sharing piracy = bread riots

As our economy becomes stripped to the bone, less of us make living wages, more money is shifted to the tiny privileged class, markets fail, houses foreclose, I foresee more of this sort of e-rioting.

In the end, people will take what they can. And the more you do that, the easier it is to do. When you begin living and making choices outside of the social contract, you begin to think outside of it as well and your ideas become your own and they do not match that which the ruling class wishes you to think.

Not really fleshed out yet and it may never be.

Hm, bread riots seem to happen at a much more basic level of desperation than P2P file sharing, since P2P requires computers and an internet connection. I do think the sense that fucking over corporations=yay is going to grow. Robin-Hood-ism, perhaps.
