birthday weekend and all that.

Went to the beach clean up on Saturday. Great day for the beach, cool, sunny and fresh.
Got a mani-pedi and than was taken to a performance of G&S's Pirates of Penzance at the Circle Theater in Glendale.
Damon's for dinner and then home for an hour of Eddie Izzard on BBC America.
All in all, a very nice birthday.

Yesterday I treated myself to paint for my bedroom and some fabrics to cover my sofa and tables.

Off to work now where I must take down some of my 'flair'. I love that work is so accepting of my hobbies, but, really, I can see how it looks like that's all I do. It is not. By a long stretch. Still, appearances and all that.

Please god, let me finish this story bit so I can post it. Or send it out for beta. Novel concept, I know.
