That will have to wait until I've had some time to digest a bit.
Because there's breaking news in lotrips, omg eleventy.
traveller 's fic King Of New Orleans is back.
willys_digs sent an email to her after I recc'ed her the story and we discussed it. Now it will be discussed on the
lotr_spotlight forum.
If you have never read lotrips, or lotr and if you have and have never read King of New Orleans by _cee, then please, I'm begging, go read it. This story is the most profoundly perfect of fanfictions, no scratch that, FICTIONS, I've had the pleasure/pain of reading in the whole of my life. This one broke me and my heart, stole it right out of my chest, mashed it, blended it and then poured it back in. Achingly beautiful, achingly hot.
And if you have ever been to or would like to go to New Orleans, this story will capture you in the same way that lovely city will or maybe already has.
Also, she's asking that if you read and like it, donate what you might have paid for the book to one of several NO charities.
And finally, she's also now writing in Supernatural. Her writing has always been in a seperate galaxy to me. No one puts words on page with such dexterity and facility as _cee.
Go read. And comment.
This one's a keeper.

Oh, and thanks for posting a little blurb. Hopefully more will share this info and we can really have a great discussion.
I think I'm going to "save" the commenting and post it in a proper spotlight post once it calms down a little bit. Then just in case traveler hasn't decided to come forward, I can at least send her the link as a little tribute for a great fic written.
Talk to ya soon!
hugs
