Am I ever glad this week is over. RL is a fucker. Got the divorce papers and did a VICTORY DANCE OF FREEDOM. *pumps fist into the air* Fuck YEAH. That's what I'm talking about.

Whew. That felt GOOD.

Still loving Burn Notice. In fact, loving it more each ep. I really like him. Nice character even if he has a bit more conscience than I would have given him credit for. Also BRUCE CAMPBELL...

I'm currently OBSESSED with Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Oh, Man. I mean, really. MAN. Not boy. No. Nope. And him paired with the boys? *guh* Dies. J3 owns me right now.

Man, I was so ready to love this show. I was dubious after some industry talk and some really down opinions from a friend but I watched the pilot and I was, like SO in after her swearing, drinking, sex positive intro. Dayum. I'm like, my tv girlfriend, yeah. And the surfate of damn good looking guys in boots and hats? BULLET PROOF KINK. So yeah, I was pretty sold.

Then the god thing gets dropped on her and I'm like, FTW? Because really? Why has a powerful, self possessed, sex positive, boundary setting woman gotta get down on her knees to an old man in the sky? Okay, yeah, with the drinking, not so good. Yes, moral moral things. Yes. Drink responsibly. Yes. Fucking married partner, not so good. But does that mean she's gotta give herself up? It's a fuck of a lot harder to accept yourself for WHO you are than to just say, hey, I should turn away from that and become some version of a woman written by men.
Okay, there is SO much wrong with that paragraph. I can tell it's gonna take time for me to sort this out. I'm such a talker. That writing it down is confusing and never says what I want it to.

Also? GRATUITOUS USE OF THE OKLAHOMA MEMORIAL WAS NOT APPRECIATED. Atheists lost people, too.
