Did anyone else on my flist see The Golden Compass last night?

I'm just wondering what the reactions are.

That looks like a great movie. I watched Beowulf yesterday. Was pretty good. I think they got in over their heads on the graphics, but it was a good story.

I'll be writing up my review now so I'll have more to say in that. For now, I found the movie beautiful and problematic. I like what he's trying to say, but I really didn't like how it got said. And, once again, too much violence.
