I aim to finish this Sweet Charity fic this weekend so I'm watching Firefly so I don't haveta roll around the channels and waste time finding something I like. Been a while and I forgot a little bit how much I love this show.

So that thing I was talking about that might come soon and take up a lot of my time is actually gonna happen.

I plan on finishing up all my Sweet Charity stuff by mid month so that on the 18th, I can start culinary school with a somewhat clean slate. I'll be going at nite, after work, for six months. It's a broad band study school so I'll bet the basics of everything though I'm leaning towards pastries and breads. I've always been a bread whore. Anyhow, if I fall quiet again, and I think I will, that's partly why.

I've been cooking all my life. For people, for groups, for fun and sometimes for money. I've never really learned the skills that would take me to the next level and I'm looking forward to doing something I love. I can't think of anything I like more than cooking. And I've never made a big decision like this without some regret and this time, there isn't any and that just tickles me silly.

That's the big news.

Now I gotta get my ass working on getting Qui-gon hooked up with his pretty shepherd boy.

HEee! I'm really excited. My uniforms come in next week and I can't wait to get my knives! Also, I have to buy shoes. Oy! Call me sometime, okay? five six two, three five five, three seven three seven is my new phone number! I miss you. Everytime I look at my jar of fluff, I giggle madly. I even bought some for work!

Your school plans sound so fantastic! I want to press my face up against the monitor in hopes of smelling yummy bread. I'm a total bread whore, too, but I have zero talent for making it or anything else in the kitchen. I'm quite talented at eating it, though. *g* I really admire people who have a gift in the culinary arts. Best wishes with it!

Thank you! I'm cackling while writing your story. It's horribly late, I know, and I'm sorry for that. I could always overnight some bread to you...or fudge? I'm damn good at fudge. Also, mustard. Seriously, please don't apologize. I know the fic will be worth waiting for, and goodness, I still have another story promised by someone else I won from Sweet Charity, and I think it will be some time in coming. So you won't be the last one! ;) So no worries! And you don't owe me anything extra.

That said, if you do ever want to put your fudge, or bread, or mustard up for sale/auction, please let me know about it, because I'll be there!!!

I'll be going to a smallish school in Hollywood. Nice, flexible schedule, short term, affordable. I'm pretty happy about it. ;) Hope your party went off well!
