So, there are shinnanigans in SPN. WHAT ELSE IS NEW. Something along the lines of fans giving slash to the boys at the LA con and also, someone, *and I use that term loosely* asked security to remove Danneel from the con where she was sitting behind Jensen at the autograph table because she was, and I quote, "harshing her squee".

There is not enough headdesking for that level of fucked in the head.

So I want to take this opportunity to say that there is some fucked up shit and if you can't tell the difference between reality, and by reality, I mean, Jensen obviously happily hangin with his girl at a con, and fiction, and by fiction I mean, any possible chance you ever might have had with a guy you don't know and doesn't know you from adam, then you really have to start taking a serious look at your thought processes. Also? NOT GAY. Either one. So just fucking deal.

Just, keep the damn slash in your pants, where it belongs and stop getting it all over the boys, okay? They do a plenty fine job of handing us the J2 on a fucking platter with gilt edges and fine ebony carvings. Be grateful and let them be happy, mkay?

The more I look at some of fandom, the more I think Shatner had it right, all those years ago. Just, probably, not the 'basement' part - unfortunately, they're *all* out of their basements now :-(

Oh dear me yes. He did and yet, it IS only a small portion of fans. Sadly, those few are the ones EVERYONE remembers. Like that one girl who jumped on Jensen in a wedding dress from a stairway as he passed. Seriously, his pretty brings all the crazy to the yard. I feel bad for him and sad for SPN fandom.

Yeah, it only ever *is* a small proportion of fans. I sure hate getting tarred with that same brush though :-( And yeah, sorry for the 'objects of devotion'. They must be nervous wrecks, wondering when a crazy is going to pop out of the woodwork.

It's really quite sad when you realize that for many years, Jensen was very wary of fans and for very good reason. He only lately began coming to cons relaxed enough to have a good time. This just makes it that much more likely that he'll stop coming at all. Sigh.

I sometimes think that this fandom won't heal until the show is over. Maybe when the boys move on the fandom will calm down. But it IS fandom so I doubt it.

Sigh. Oh the SG1 days when all we griped about was MS showing up drunk.
